Established as a law department in 1993 and elevated to an independent College of Law in 2004, Qatar University’s College of Law is the nation’s foremost institution for legal education. It offers undergraduate (LLB), graduate (LLM), and doctoral (PhD) degrees, underpinned by a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and community service. The College comprises three academic departments – Public Law, Private Law, and Legal Skills – along with the Center for Law and Development, and publishes a peer-reviewed periodical, the International Review of Law.
