SabQ is a pioneering national program that seeks to discover and recognize educational innovations within the State of Qatar. It was launched with the vision of encouraging creative and impactful practices in teaching and learning, while highlighting individuals and institutions that make a real difference in the educational landscape.

Each year, SabQ selects a group of outstanding projects characterized by originality, relevance, and measurable impact. These selected innovations are documented through the production of short professional videos, contributing to a growing digital library of educational excellence — a source of inspiration and learning for teachers, students, and educational policymakers.

SabQ aims to celebrate innovation and expand its impact by widely sharing these success stories, thereby fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration in education.

SabQ Cycle

Participation and
Evaluation Steps

This phase opens registration through the official website, where participants complete a requirements survey.
It also includes introductory workshops about the SabQ project, along with a social media campaign highlighting previous innovations.
An internal committee then conducts an initial review of applications to select candidates for the next phase.

Qualified participants are shortlisted for the final evaluation and personal interviews conducted by the judging panel (if applicable).
At the end of this phase, the winners are officially announced.

In this stage, each innovation is developed into a story and scenario that reflect its concept.
The video should summarize the innovation idea within about one and a half minutes.
A filming and editing schedule is prepared in both Arabic and English, and a final highlight video is produced for the recognition ceremony.

This stage celebrates and honors the selected innovations during the International Day of Education.
Videos are published on social media and the Rasekh platform, with full media coverage and the announcement of the new cycle.
Finally, participant feedback is collected to improve future editions.
